The 5300 Compact is a tough little portable solar generator capable of powering most house hold appliances and home tools. The 5000 watt modified sine wave inverter comes with four AC outlets, capable of outputing up to 1500 watts each and an AC Direct Connect terminal block that can be hard wired to a device to pull the maximum 5000 watts from the inverter (scroll down for detailed inverter specifications).
In addition to the 5000 watt inverter a 300 watt pure sine wave inverter caters to those appliances that are more sensitive to the energy output powering them. Capable of powering a laptop, recharging lithium battery devices, CPAP machine, professional audio/video equipment or tools with a variable speed capability.
These inverters are fueled by two 12 volt 120 Amp hour AGM batteries connected in series to the 24 volt inverters.
Capable of providing 1.44 Kilowatt Hours (KWH).
This system can handle up to three 235 watt solar panels (comes with one panel as standard).
Housed in a wood lined steel box. The 5300 Compact packs in the power while still remaining portable.
Comes complete with:
Component features and specifications outlined below.
5000 watt modified sine wave inverter
7 Amp Battery charger
30 Amp Solar Charge Controller
12 Volt 120 Ah AGM batteries
Battery specifications: Centennial CB12-120S (12V118.6Ah)
Plug and Play-- When you need electricity for emergencies, camping, remote cabins, or whatever… just wheel this self-contained unit out, plug in your equipment and you are good to go. Then plug the solar panel in for fast recharging or even direct use.
EXPAND YOUR SYSTEM….ADD 2 additional 235 watt solar panels...and still keep it portable.
(Note: If you would like more than three 235 watt solar panels to use for the system simultaneously then an additional solar charge controller will need to be purchased to accommodate the extra watts. The Solar Max 5300 system handles up to six 235 watt panels and is capable of housing six 120 Ah AGM batteries within its box.Alternatively we sell the charge controller used on the Solar Max 5300 separately here.)
**You can also add more 120 amp hr Batteries as needed, but you will need a bigger box if you want them in an EMP box. (NOTE: IF YOU ADD MORE BATTERIES TO THE 3300---IT WILL NOT BE PORTABLE. THE EXTRA BATTERIES WILL ONLY FIT ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE BOX.)
***If you are already thinking of expanding this unit...consider purchasing the Solar Max 5300 instead. You can also call for custom designed expansions.
